Reported first by Entertainment Tonight, Rachel Bloom recently announced that she and her husband, Dan Gregor, were gearing up to have their first child together. On Saturday, Rachel walked away with the top prize for best original music and lyrics while at the Creative Arts Emmys.
However, when she went backstage, Bloom revealed all of the good news, stating in the backstage press room that she and her man were “three months pregnant.” Rachel joked with the others in the room that she could joke that her child was actually with her when she got the award.
In terms of the Emmy Award she won, the star added that she’s thrilled to finally get one. Not long after, the 32-year-old actress shared a picture of herself celebrating with her fellow winners, Jack Dolgen and Adam Schlesinger.
Regarding her series, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Bloom shared the message that she hopes to communicate with the fans and viewers of the show. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’s series finale was broadcasted on the 5th of April. The star said the purpose of the production was to show that there will always be “love,” regardless of how bad things get.

According to the series’ Wikipedia Page, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend premiered on the 12th of October, 2015, on The CW network, and has run for four seasons thus far. Created by Aline Brosh McKenna and Rachel Bloom, it stars Rachel as Rebecca Bunch, an attorney-at-law who moves from the Big Apple to California to chase after a high school boyfriend.
Reportedly, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has received almost universal praise for both its musical numbers, Rachel’s performance, as well as the general tone and writing of the show. On Metacritic, the production has a score of 78.

On Rotten Tomatoes, on the other hand, the production has a 97% positive rating from 58 critics. Critics have described it as a “charming” and “eccentric commentary” on human romance.
