Pope Francis is the first non-european Pope since the year 711 and the loyal Catholic following has approximately 300,000 listening to his emotionally invested words.

Not just in person, but through live cast as well.

He came on Twitter yesterday and the day before, tweeting words of courage and positivity to Mexico stating the following:

“Dear Mexican friends, you are in my heart. Let us put our trust in the Blessed Virgin of Guadalupe who always looks on us with tenderness. Mexico has a young face. This makes it possible to contemplate and plan for a future, for a tomorrow. This offers hope”

What’s so beautiful about this historical moment is that he is able to bring so many people from all the corners of the world, together in one peaceful ceremony. In addition, he’s one of the most respected people in the world.

Not only was he placed on Time Magazine’s Person of the Year in 2013, but his ideological ideals place him in an either neutral or approving stance from outside religions.

One of the many personal things he’s talked about is his stance on LGBT individuals stating they like every other individual, should be treated with dignity and respect. He continues on to say, “Tell me: when God looks at a gay person, does he endorse the existence of this person with love, or reject and condemn this person?’ We must always consider the person. Here we enter into the mystery of the human being”.

This alone proves that LGBT acceptance is slowly evolving, showing that as a human race, we are slowly but surely evolving into something better and something more wise.

Overall, the enormous mass was filled with enchanting visuals, beautiful singing, and strong echoing words from Pope Francis.

We wish the best for the Pope as well as for the beautiful country of Mexico!
